Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

The short version

We don't store your photos. We don't have accounts. We don't track you. We collect as little as possible to make the service work.

1. Photos

Photos you upload are stored temporarily in an encrypted S3 bucket solely to perform the AI assessment. They are deleted immediately after the assessment is returned, typically within a few seconds. A lifecycle rule deletes any orphaned files within 24 hours as a safety net. We do not view, analyze, or retain your photos beyond the assessment request.

2. IP Addresses

Your IP address is used to enforce rate limits (5 assessments per hour). This data is stored in DynamoDB with a TTL and expires automatically at the end of each hour. We do not log, sell, or share IP addresses.

3. Cookies & Tracking

We do not use cookies. We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or any third-party tracking scripts. There are no user accounts.

4. AI Processing

Photos and prompts are sent to Amazon Bedrock (Claude by Anthropic) for assessment. This processing occurs within AWS infrastructure in the United States. Anthropic's usage policies apply to content processed through Bedrock. We do not send your data to any other third parties.

5. Infrastructure

judgy.bot runs entirely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the us-east-1 region. Standard AWS access and error logs may be retained for operational purposes in accordance with AWS defaults.

6. Children

judgy.bot is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy at any time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
